Word Mastery in Survive Your Ideas
Word Mastery arrived with the game's November 8, 2026 update. Ten words carry three challenges each. Finish all three for a word and that word becomes Mastered: same word to type, new look, stronger effects.
How Mastery works
- Stand on the Mastery pad in the lobby — the one with the typewriter icon, next to Index and Items — to open the quest UI.
- Each tracked word has three challenges. Type the word on your Writer turns and work through them; progress is tracked in the in-game Mastery UI.
- Finish all three and the word unlocks its Mastered form, with a new look and stronger effects.
- Mastery is separate from the Word Diary: the Diary counts words you discover, Mastery upgrades words you already type.
Tornado

Becomes a Fire Tornado. Ride on top for 20s.
Kill

Glowing red knife. Bounces between 3 players. Comes back to your hand.
Earthquake

Mastered Earthquake
Draw the crack's path. Glowing lava in the crack. Island chunks fall away.
Hero

Gojo

Mastered Gojo
Lapse Blue pulls everyone in. Reversal Red blasts them away. Hollow Purple + Unlimited Void.

Dinosaur

Glowing blue spikes. Ride it for 30s. Blue breath attack.
